KETTLE KARVERS KLUB SHOW by Judy Larson

The 27th annual Artistry in Wood Woodcarving and Wood Sculpture Show will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at
the Lakers Ice Center in Sheboygan from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is just $2 and children under 12 are admitted free
with their parents. Featured carver this year is Rosemary Mohnsam. Concessions will be sold by the Youth Hockey
League. Book, tool, and wood vendors will be at the show. Demonstrations and a kids’ carve will be held throughout
the day.

Ron Feld will have posters and flyers available at the next meeting. Our show is just a few weeks away, and help is
needed from members to post flyers everywhere. The volunteer signup sheets for Friday and Saturday will be at the
meeting. If unable to attend, please email Ron at rblgjf@charter.net or call 458-4136.

If you still need to book your table, fill out this
form and return it to Bob Lawrence at the next meeting or by mail.
Forms will also be available at the meeting. Bob will have judging numbers at the meeting for all those who contacted
him.

ORNAMENTS FOR MEALS ON WHEELS by Don Lorier

Please bring ornaments that you have already completed to this next meeting. Meals on Wheels will use some of the
ornaments in a display to advertise their November fundraising event featuring a large Christmas tree decorated with
ornaments carved by Kettle Karvers Klub members. We will also feature a display at our upcoming April show to
advertise the Meals on Wheels event.

If you have not as yet completed your ornaments, remember the theme for the 2017 tree is
Wheels for Meals. We do
have until early fall to complete all carvings for the tree so it would make a great summer project! Cutouts and wheels
are available from Betty Wilson at each Tuesday carve and monthly meeting.

UNITY MUSIC FESTIVAL by Judy Larson

The 2017 Unity Music Festival will be held on April 8th at 7 pm at the Weill Center in downtown Sheboygan. All
proceeds remain local to help cancer patients through the Sheboygan Cancer Care Fund. Even though our club does
not have an auction item this year, this is still an event that is worthwhile attending. Tickets are now on sale at the
Weill Center or many other locations including the local Piggly Wigglys. Check other locations on their website.

MEETING MINUTES by Judy Larson

The March 1 meeting was canceled due to a winter storm.
